San Marino

The Republic of San Marino was founded in 301 A.D. and is the most ancient Republic in the world. An enclave situated in central Italy, only 90 minutes drive from Ravenna, the Republic sits at 700 mt above sea level on Mount Titano, a prominence which gives the first hint of the presence of the Central Apennine Mountains.

In 2008 San Marino and Mount Titano entered the UNESCO World Heritage List.

In San Marino the attractions which are well worth a visit are many: shopping, scenery, gastronomy, philately numismatics, celebrations, events, monuments, museums and works of art.
